When reading the title, I'm sure many of you thought, "How is it greater? Both equal a dollar." But, I have to ask you: would you rather carry around 100 pennies or 4 quarters? Would you rather count out 100 pennies when paying for something or 4 quarters? The answer is obvious. Why carry around so many pennies when you have enough money to exchange it for coins of more value. And by now, you guys are wondering, "Ok, but who cares about money and why am I reading an entire blog post about lugging around a bunch of change?" Well, let me enlighten you: this post, in fact, is not about money. It's about... take a guess...
Recently, I've been asked quite a lot what the most exciting and the craziest thing I've ever done is. And to that, I have to say cliff jumping a couple weeks ago. My first cliff was 50 feet high, and I still can't believe I did that. But, when people were asking me these questions, I started thinking, why does my answer have to be something thrill seeking or illegal. I think I do a lot of small things that I would say are crazy simply for the fact that it keeps my life interesting, like sneaking slurpees and candy into a movie with my sister.
Hi, my loves! I'm so sorry for the delay! I've been applying to scholarships like crazy. But I'm back and at it again. In fact, I've been doing several photo shoots and reaching out to my photographer friends so that I can have pictures lined up for my many posts to come! Before I get started, let me just say: starting a blog has changed me. I find myself lugging around a bulky camera to all my outings, stopping for photo shoots every 5 minutes, and sitting at my computer half of my sleepless nights. I lose time blogging, and I love it. In some ways, I'm not appreciating the moment, like how I described in "Polaroid Perfect," as much as I used to because I'm more focused on capturing the moment than living it it. Yet, in some ways, I'm cherishing it more because I now find value in every moment, every experience because I can talk about these moments in my blog. I don't know if I'm appreciating life more or less, I just know that there has been a change, and I'm not opposed to it. But now, onto the real topic of discussion.
