The Crazy Little Things

Recently, I've been asked quite a lot what the most exciting and the craziest thing I've ever done is. And to that, I have to say cliff jumping a couple weeks ago. My first cliff was 50 feet high, and I still can't believe I did that. But, when people were asking me these questions, I started thinking, why does my answer have to be something thrill seeking or illegal. I think I do a lot of small things that I would say are crazy simply for the fact that it keeps my life interesting, like sneaking slurpees and candy into a movie with my sister.

I don't always jump off 50-foot cliffs, play fugitive late at night, go ziplining through forests, explore Europe, or get lost in the subways of New York. Most of the crazy things that happen in my life aren't what I do, they are what happen to me. Two flat tires in one week -- one so bad that it destroyed the rim -- a bonus is that the guy that just did my nails came out and put my spare on. Taking a sharp turn into Dunkin' Donuts, where I scared this old man so bad he threw down the cigarette he was smoking. The opening night of The First Purge, IN THEATERS the movie started skipping.  Being the only one to get hurt ever: I dropped a table on my foot and it took months to recover and let's not forget the time I tripped while playing fugitive and dug a hole out of my knee that needed stitches -- but that was impossible because there was no skin to stitch. It still hasn't scarred over and that was a year and a half ago. RIP hails.

My point is, life can be crazy whether you seek it out or not. Life can be exciting whether you find cliffs to jump off of or you drive crazy for the thrill of it -- I don't recommend, though, because that got me a ticket oops. Some thrills are hard to find, but some are packed throughout your everyday life, all you have to do is see the thrill in them. I know I do, and my life is a hell of a lot more interesting because of it. Besides, fun-sized things are way more fun anyway, hence the name. So I encourage you to find the small thrills, the ones that get you out of bed each day, the reason a simple day is great even though you aren't sky diving or anything. Those things are the best things. Those things are the crazy little things.

Much love from hails ;)

It takes a big purse and a fuzzy blanket on top.

“why does my answer have to be something thrill seeking or illegal.”
What’s the illegal option Hailey?

Anyways, nicely written.
